Lettera inviata da Padova il 30 maggio 1848. Sono mesi che De Visiani non riceve lettere di Moris ed è preoccupato, data anche la situazione di guerra in cui si trova il Piemente. E’ però tranquillo sulla sua salute, avendo recentemente ricevuto buone notizie da Paravia. Secondo De Visiani non lascia dubbi la votazione per l’aggregazione immediata della Lombardia e di Venezia al Piemonte. Venezia però vuole attendere che la guerra sia finita.
