La lettera è spedita da Firenze il 26 marzo 1842. In essa l’Antinori si rammarica che non sia pervenuto al Moris il volume degli Atti dell’Accademia del Cimento. Esprime poi perplessità sulla chiamata, da parte del Granduca di Toscana, del Prof. Targioni alla direzione del nuovo Erbario Centrale Toscano, poiché ne ritiene preferibile l’affidamento al Prof. Parlatore. (Nella lettera del 22 dicembre riportata al 6.1 riferisce a Moris che è stato nominato il Prof. Filippo Parlatore).
