Lettera inviata da Ginevra il 22 luglio 1855. Reuter espone in dettaglio il suo parere su due piante di Orobanche che Moris gli ha mandato tempo prima, che ritiene specie nuove. Ritiene inoltre che il Phyteuma del colle di Tenda sia il P. Balbisii di Alph. De Candolle. In compagnia di Boissier, Reuter compirà alcune escursioni sulle Alpi di Carinzia e di Carniola. Le rosette di Saxifraga florulenta che Moris ha fatto avere a Boissier non sono ancora fiorite. Reuter spera che Moris gli invii alcune piante in fiore.
