Lettera inviata da Cagliari il 16 novembre 1859, in cui Gennari ringrazia Moris del dono del terzo volume della Flora Sardoa. Consiglia di farglieli avere tramite il dottor Enrico Cheirasco, medico della Sanità Marina. Gli ha spedito alcune belle piante di Oporanthus. Il ministro gli ha concesso un supplemento di stipendio per la direzione del Museo, però inferiore a quanto sperato. Si augura che Moris e De Filippi riescano a fargli avere tutta la somma desiderata.
